Burning Man Luxury Camps 2024. Following a harrowing 2023 festival experience, burning man project organizers are implementing an unprecedented move to sell tickets, less than three weeks before the start of the yearly event. In 2022, we introduced a new system called humans uniting for better sustainability (hubs), which also accomplishes the ability to connect camps physically to help achieve burning manโs 2030 sustainability goals.
Burning man was cancelled altogether in 2020 and 2021, and 2023 saw around 70,000 people stranded at the site, black rock playa, after heavy rainfall turned the ground into a swamp. In the afternoon, we dove deeper with 14 breakout sessions covering topics from leadership to acculturation, sustainability, tickets, emergency planning, placement office hours, and etc.
